RV Tech Training is a vocational school with a mission. The mission.... "provide the RV Industry with the most highly qualified RV Technicians."
We accomplish this by providing a program that combines classroom and labs with hands-on diagnostic techniques.
Throughout the 10 week course, students receive training on RV systems. These include Electrical (DC/AC), LP Systems, Hydraulics, Refrigerators, Heating and A/C, Plumbing, Generators to mention a few. Our hands-on training provides students with real world troubleshooting skills. Upon graduation you will receive RVTC Certified RV Technician designation. We also prepare you for the RVDA/RVIA National Certification testing.
RVDA/RVIA certifications will provide you with additional industry credentials and opportunities should you desire. Dealers are looking for RVDA/RVIA Certified Technicians so the opportunities are limitless.
RVDA/RVIA certification testing applications are available for download .....Application and fees are paid separately to RVDA/RVIA and are not included in our tuition fees.
RV Tech Training encourages dealers to send their technicians to our school for certification. We also provide continuing education,and re-certification training.
This is a hands on course, you will need to bring some basic tools. These tools are necessary for the shop/labs, so please have them available for your use.
Test Equipment: VOM AC/DC Current, Voltage,OHMs, Frequency and Capacitance. Low Pressure Manometer LP Gas sniffer. Thermometer... Digitial or Analog Propane Test appartus (we have available for a fee)
Battery Service: Battery cleaner brush/tool Hydrometer Battery terminal puller Safety Glasses (required for all shop activities)
